| The
trophy moose found in our hunting area, about 800 miles north of
the Alberta-Montana border, or about 400 miles north of Edmonton, are the
second largest of this species in the world. We are fortunate to offer these
great animals to the enthusiastic hunter. Your opportunity for harvesting
a record-book trophy moose with us is excellent. Our trophy moose hunts are located in Wildlife Management Unit 359, bordering the south side of the mighty Peace River, and west of the British Columbia border. The banks of this huge river and the remote flatlands above provide isolation and prime habitat for record book bulls. For those who tag their trophy early, fishing in the mighty Peace River is a great pasttime. Brimming with Northern Pike, Pickerel, Perch, Whitefish, and a variety of others, it makes a fishing pole a must. As well, the scenery is stunning, so bring your camera. ![]() Our method of hunting these great trophies allows for many hunting options. We hunt the feeding areas, cutlines, and well-traveled game trails. We utilize tree stands near natural salt licks, and hunt the logged areas, which provide an abundant regrowth of lush vegetation. For rifle hunters, the best time to get your moose is during the mating season. Calling these great bulls is the most exciting way to hunt. Watching your trophy coming to your call is unforgettable. All-terrain vehicles and pickups will be utilized to transfer our hunters into prime moose locations, and bring them back with their trophies. We hunt all day, returning to camp at night, for the best hunting advantage. Bow hunters should schedule early hunts in order to have the best opportunity for record-book bulls. Archery hunting is best done in early September when the bulls are using the natural salt licks. Tree stands over these licks provide ample opportunities for a trophy bull. |

Each cabin has single beds with mattresses, propane lights, wood furnace, and a sink for washing . We only sleep 2 per tent. We offer a hearty breakfast before our hunt and a huge supper when we return at the end of our day. We hunt all day, so mid-day lunches are in the field, or a hot lunch is available if preferred. You will find our camp to be a comfortable and relaxing place to stay after a fulfulling day of hunting.
