| Wildlife Identification Number (W.I.N) | |||||||||||||||||
| W.I.N is simply a permanent number received
in advance, to help speed up the licensing process here in Alberta. Only
return clients who have hunted Alberta during the fall of 1998 or later
will have this new number already. WIN numbers will be purchased with licenses
upon your arrival. There is an application cost of $8.56 CDN. |

| Hunting Licenses | |||||||||||||||||
| Hunting licences can only be
purchased after the processing of your W.I.N application. Upon arrival,
the remaining cost of your hunt must be paid, plus the cost of your hunting
licences. License Fees (Canadian Funds): Hunting licenses must be purchased through outfitter.

| Transportation | |||||||||||||||||
| You can find us on our map
page. Check your road maps for the best route to Grande Prairie, to Fairview,
and then to Worsley. We are about 8 hours north of Edmonton, and 2 hours
north of Grande Prairie. Rental vehicles are located at every major airport (Avis, Budget and Tilden). Ask your travel agent to arrange a vehicle for you. | Customs & Import Regulations | |||||||||||||||||
| Customs: U.S. Residents, and customers travelling through U.S.: There should be no trouble getting through customs at the Canada - U.S. Border. Do not bring hand guns, as they are illegal. However, do bring proper identification. When on your way home, you may be expected to identify what game you are carrying. The export papers you will receive from us should do this. Contact the U.S. Fish and Game Department to obtain up-to-date information on regulations. Import Regulations: Check with your local authorities for import regulations into your country and any country you may be travelling through. Remember - export permits may be required for each country you leave. |

| Hunting Camp | |||||||||||||||||
| Camp consists of 14'x16' insulated
pony wall tents with wood floors. Each cabin has single beds with mattresses,
propane lights, wood furnace, and a sink for washing . We only sleep 2 per
tent. We offer a hearty breakfast before our hunt and a huge supper when
we return at the end of our day. We hunt all day, so mid-day lunches are
in the field, or a hot lunch is available if preferred. You will find our
camp to be a comfortable and relaxing place to stay after a fulfulling day
of hunting. |
|||||||||||||||||
| Terrain & Hunting Methods | |||||||||||||||||
| For the most part, our hunting
terrain is flat land. We have a mixed boreal forest of pine, spruce, aspen,
alder and buckbrush. Gernerally speaking we leave camp with the vehicles
and drive to an active hunting area. Depending on the animal being hunted
we may stay with the pickup, but usually we hunt on foot or by quad. If
you harvest your trophy, we will prepair it for transport, and then haul
it back to camp for you. |
